About Japan Natural Gas Association

 Since its establishment on October 31, 1957, Japan Natural Gas Association has been contributing to the sound development of Japan’s inflammable natural gas upstream industry by encouraging friendship among our 14 member companies.


Our areas of activities are:


　・Management research of natural gas upstream businesses,
　・Review and publication on natural gas upstream technology,
　・Compiling records and statistics,
　・Public enlightenment and providing assistance,
　・Making industrial appeal to the government and to the public; and
　・Other activities required to achieve our objectives.

 

Most of our 14 member companies run natural gas production as their core business.  We also have associates, who are companies and organizations from related field of business and support our mission.
